This year’s 8M was more than a feminist fight—it was an act of Resilience and Resistance against patriarchal structures that foster injustice, exploitation, and destruction worldwide. Capital interests dominate over the well-being of people, nature, and the climate. But more and more people are rising together against the abuse of power to fight for justice and peace.
Matriarchy represents balance, healing, and community. It is not about men versus women but about restoring a long-lost equilibrium. We need the wisdom of the feminine and the strength of the masculine working together to create a sustainable future.
Mònica Fuster’s video work Tapís merges the agricultural and textile traditions of Mallorca into a poetic ritual, uniting nature and art. The nearly lost tap de cortí pepper was saved through a collective effort—symbolizing resistance and renewal.
Marta Marcé’s series It is all there speculates on a new era, the Ecocene, where humans live in symbiosis with nature. Her paintings, printed with collected leaves and flowers, emerge from direct engagement with the natural world—a playful and vibrant process, poetic and sensorial dialogue with the environment.
