The exhibition ‘Parcel parcel’ focuses on coal mining, expropriation and its effects on socio-ecological living conditions in Turkey, the South Aegean region and North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.


By exploring ways of questioning how mining projects intervene in nature, everyday life and culture, it aims to break the invisibility of violence and the hierarchical domination over nature and human beings. The exhibition will include installations consisting of images and names of places erased from the map due to coal mining, site-specific installations that make visible the struggle of the nature that tries to renew itself under every circumstance and videos that are the source of the research process.
