In Common Horizons, the exhibition space becomes a collective realm, a frieze formed from the individual works of six artists, each working in A5 landscape format. By applying a variety of techniques (textiles, painting, video, photography) and forms of expression, the different works are linked both literally, in form, and in ideas. On closer inspection, the product of this merging of horizons contains a grammar of forms of expression with which concepts such as "the whole is the sum of the parts", "the large in the small" or the tension between diversity and unity are explored.
