In Caution M/Other, the artist explores the complexities of motherhood, caregiving, and intergenerational memory. The exhibition challenges the cultural idealization of selfless care by highlighting the invisible labor, personal sacrifice, and emotional toll often hidden behind the celebration of motherhood. Central to the exhibition is the tension between care as both a transformative force and a burdensome erosion of selfhood. The works explore caregiving's dualities through sound, drawing, and participatory elements: its tenderness and exhaustion, its ability to nourish and its tendency to isolate.

Red, used throughout the exhibition, symbolizes both the vitality and cost of care, calling attention to the systemic invisibility of maternal labor. Caution M/Other redefines care work as an act of resilience and resistance, offering an alternative narrative that centers caregivers as whole persons deserving of nurture and recognition.

Ultimately, Caution M/Other invites viewers to confront their perceptions of care and consider how support systems can be reshaped to honor those who provide it.
