Time is pressing. It is an immaterial force that provokes forms and relations. 
In the process of waiting, changes takes place inevitably, out of our reach and will. The weight of the unconscious flow of potential thoughts, beliefs and desires becomes present. A transfer of energy occurs, questioning the relation between existence and essence. Between undefined moments, waiting transforms into a physical void. Sometimes this void repeats, other times it circulates within space.
The Weight of Godot is a group exhibition that brings together 5 international artists from varied artistic practices. Taking forms across drawings, objects, installation and performances, the exhibition questions the poetics of waiting and transfer of meaning from one situation to another. 
The works explores the materiality of time and vulnerability of the body, in a space between existence and absence.
